How It Works

One Call Handles Everything

You should not have to organize anything on the worst day. Tell us where you are and we take it from there.

  1. 01

    You Call

One call reaches us directly. Tell us where you are and what happened, and we will confirm when we can get to you.

  2. 02

    We Come to You

We arrive with a clean, purpose-built trailer and handle your animal gently. You do not need to be there if you would rather not be.

  3. 03

    We Handle the Rest

Burial, private cremation or transport to CSU. Whichever you choose, we take it from there and keep you updated.

What We Do

Burial, Cremation and Transport

We handle every part of it ourselves, from the pickup to whichever arrangement you choose. Pickups start at $300, and if you are not sure what you want yet, that is normal. We will talk it through on the phone.

Horse and Livestock Burial

Respectful, regulation-compliant burial for horses, livestock and other large animals. Colorado enforces strict environmental and health rules on burying a large animal on private property, and we will make sure yours is handled lawfully.

Private Cremation

Whole-body private cremation for animals of any size, at our own high-capacity 4,400 lb crematory. Remains come back to you, and horsehair urns glazed with your own animal’s hair are available.

Livestock and Wildlife Pickup

Pickup and removal of deceased animals from farms, ranches and private property, including deer and elk. If a neighbor or your children can see it, we understand why that call cannot wait.

Necropsy Transport

Secure transport to Colorado State University or another regional veterinary hospital. Equine mortality policies frequently require an official necropsy report to settle a claim, and a necropsy can also simply tell you what happened.

Who Comes Out

Stephanie and Ben, Not a Dispatch Service

Stephanie started All Animal Recovery in 2003 after more than 25 years of hands-on horse care. Her husband Ben, a veteran, works it with her. The person who arrives knows how to handle a horse, and treats yours the way they would want theirs handled.

  • Respectful, dignified handling of every animal we pick up
  • Clean, purpose-built trailers and trained handlers
  • Removal, burial and cremation at our own crematory, all in one place
  • 7 Days a week including holidays, plus overnight emergencies

"I've had horses of my own and I know what it feels like to say goodbye. This work is personal, every call, every pickup."

– Stephanie, Founder
